I’m happy to announce that Discover Meteor is out!

Discover Meteor is my latest book. I wrote it in collaboration with Tom Coleman, and we released it last week with a great party at the Meteor offices where more than 100 “meteorites” (that’s what people who’re interested in Meteor are called…) came.

The book covers everything you need to know to build a Meteor app from scratch, provided you have a basic degree of familiarity with JavaScript already.

The book is based on our experiences building Telescope, and will walk you through creating a simpler version of a social news app, which we call Microscope.
